Welcome to the Department of Social Work. The Department offers a multidisciplinary programme with a national outlook with the intent of advancing and applying knowledge in social work in areas where need exist nationwide.

The Department provides professional postgraduate training of international standard in social work to students around the world. The Department is duly registered in both national and international associations and participates actively in their activities.

The Department participates actively in seminars and conferences organized by Governments, NGO’s, international institutions and organisations on contemporary issues. It also organizes short training programmes in specialized areas. All these eminently assist the students to secure employment with ease across national and international job markets.
